Read Me Thinks

Read Me Thinks

A Poem by Working Class Scarecrow

the guy on the other end of the world wide web wants me to select an object at random and describe it poetically ...

unfortunately, it's much too dark in this room aside from the glow of the screen to  much of anything.

aside from my own hands...

which scuttle across the keys like some ancient crustacean creatures
looking for a few bits off food scattered through the sand.
or perhaps performing some kind of mating ritual.

or a reflection that doesn't quite sync up with the image it's supposed to be reflecting.
