Such a Child (Oct. 29, 2006)

A Poem by Working Class Scarecrow
"

some more old school.

"

here it goes
     I'm letting go
          of my own throat
and maybe I'll breath a little more freely
though I may take in more poisons
I'll know what's better for me
          I've been such a child
                moping over this self produced
              head trauma
it's all in my mind really
      but...
                 "where is my mind?"
                              something that you throw out
won't be so easy to find

                       I'd like to state
that there are still currently a few bugs
 in my operating system...

and that strength and humility of mine that you mentioned
is curled up on the floor at your bedside
and the termites are eating away at
the frame work i so intricately designed here

                                   so when the house collapses
            and I'm left
                               basking in the dawn
               as the fog disapates
                            and...

               hi...
           ...i'm Sam
