Save My Soul

Save My Soul

A Poem by Working Class Scarecrow

I'm calling out
somebody save my soul
come on destroy my doubt
fill in the empty holes

holes in your logic
only convince fools
prove the nonbelievers wrong
your god'll give you the tools

if you're so right
then why avoid the questions?
I can't see the light,
come on  and teach me your lessons

pray to a stone
and the results are the same
as your imaginary friend
you give a 3 letter name

help me see the error
of my blasphemous ways
and I'll stand beside you
'til the end of days

but I'm not lookin'
for some quick fix
you and I both know
fact and fiction can't mix

the devil's got a hold on me
but I don't believe in him
you keep sayin' that belief is the key
I guess that makes me free of sin.....

come on and save my soul....

Deep flow and strong symbols of words and expression. It's writen in creative rhymes and twisting end of each line make it even more readable.
