Muffled Moan of Rebellion

Muffled Moan of Rebellion

A Poem by Vic
"

Look beyond what's there to find the real truth.

"
Listen to the whispers
that haunt your perception.
See how they dance
to summon illusions of
reality and faith.
And then they pray
to those who destroyed them,
and thank for hearing the lies,
grasping onto a dream
they once could taste.

Do you hear the cracks in their honesty?
The muffled moan of rebellion?
If you focus close
beyond the silenced
youthful mouths born earlier
than mom could find mate,
you would surely discover
the root-word for the
new century's definition
of sanity: Us.

Us is who to blame,
though they cannot commit crime.
Judge Us,
even though their lies
are the only truth.
And know them too,
unless you become us.

Author's Note

Vic
I was obviously very put out with the world and it's people when I wrote this, but do you think my observation is true? Feel beyond my words and try to put sense into my confusion.
