Lights

Very very tired when I did this one.

If I lie awake
Yet turn off the lights
Is the world still there?

Is the dark still the dark
If we turn on the light

Is the world outside still bright
If we close our eyes

Will anything leave if we close our eyes?
Will anything come if we turn on the lights
And wait?

We all start thinking random things when sleep.y I for one, focus on something whch will eventually make me asleep as soon as possible. Yet, this poem was very thought-provoking. Its puts really strong questions about the rights and wrongs of life. Well written! :)
