Enlightenment

Enlightenment

A Poem by Kay

I contemplate this place,
As these words
Trickle down
Ever
 So
Slowly.
Peculating through the membrane of my insurrections.
Never have I been so close to my own presence.
I can literally feel the light
streaming through my retinas.
Illuminating  the grey matter of my brain.

Enlightenment.
 Obviously.
Happiness superfluous as it is in surplus.
My personage gaining momentum every waking second.
Or, at least it seams that way.
The tangible, yet abstract actions
Play out in my memory.
They glue me,
In some sort of a binding hug
Which, I am oddly comfortable with.
Its an attachment to which
 I've grown rather fond .
I cant leave me.
It's simple.
I am all I have left to explore.
