The Abyss

The Abyss

A Poem by Kay
"

I have my moments....

"
No amount ofcontemplation
Will hinder my hesitation
To stop my own desecration,
With this pain I am facing.
I fall down, Abyss.
Abyss.
How could it all end like this?
I am the very tragedy I seek.
Every time I fall,
I am weak.
A byproduct of an inner genocide,
Mind killing mind to feel alive inside.
What if I died?
Am I just along for the ride?
A soul deprived of an inner light to electrify
and ingretiate my hopes.
Oh hopes,
Such birds!
The minute I open the window
To vast opportunity they take flight!
This is a hopeless plight,
No end in sight.
No end in sight.
