Fell onto Paper

Fell onto Paper

A Poem by Kay
"

My love for poetry, explained.

"
I am in love,
Not with man,
Nor live being.

I am in love,
With what fanciful
Fluidity creates.

I am in love,
with the raw
untamed desire.

I fell in love,
Seeing diction
Fall freely
onto the reams
Of endless paper

I fell in love,
When the words
Landed so perfectly
In my heart.

Serendipitous
Suave
Selection.

This was a very great, insightful write. I enjoyed the sense of a love poem, but drawn into the beauty of writing, instead of the beauty of a human being. Writing is one of my loves so I fully understand the meaning behind this beautiful work. Fantastic job!

See? Now this is the kind of love poem that people need to read and write!!! I feel a little ashamed to admit that when I previously thought of love poems I never actually thought of poetry being the object of love. Bad Becca!!! I deserve to be hit over the head with something totally random like a bowling ball or a tube sock!!! This is great :D :D :D I especially love the alliteration in here because alliteration makes everything better :P Fantastic write!!!
