Pandora's BoxA Poem by Nix is typing...A poem by Nix and Ts (T.S. Ulmus)Pandora was always told She was to remain pure and chaste Not to waste her innocence But in a sense she was blind To the evil she might find Her family always said Not to open the box There were late-night talks,
It would make her dirty They might call her "flirty" For the rest of her life So she didn't She was a good little girl A smooth alabaster pearl That box was opened by some man Some twisted man that Pandora trusted A rusted and twisted old man Whose daughter she would play with daily That she loved like family But his intentions were vicious This girl's daddy was malicious A predator, to say the least He said, "Relax, baby, it's okay, relax your legs" As his own daughter slept on the bed nearby He had his way and thereby He ripped open the box And unleashed every evil into her mind A torrent of madness of lust, hate, and sadness
But one thing remained Something pure and unstained Hope, beautiful hope The product of this vicious act A fullness she lacked That was somehow the thing she loved the most Baby Hope was sweet and pure A cure to all the evil she could find So Pandora held all the evil in her mind It was another box That she dared not open Lest it touch Her perfect child Picture by Imgur © 2021 Nix is typing...Author's Note
