I Guess I'll Write a Corny Poem

Think of it as a "soft landing".

I do not mean to sound distraught

That last poem was not what you thought

Erotica it was not

 

So I guess I'll write a corny poem

To show I'm not a website troll

Worked that in to rhyme with poem

 

I do not like to go in strong

Or to make a poem too long

You can add a syllable by splitting a contraction

 

I'm sure it's good to add surprise

I won't be passed as, "one of those guys"

French fries

 

So I guess I'll start to write new things

And feel the feels that they all bring

Onion rings

 

This poem is losing relevancy

So I guess I should end it positively

Something about necromancy
