When heart bleeds love

When heart bleeds love

A Poem by Nitesh Mahabal

In the barren land,
Outbraving soaring heat,
Blooms mojave aster,
Rebellious bolshie indeed,

Dying of love sickness,
Resurrecting from pain,
Conjugating like the celestially nebula,
From the burning passion within,

A pair of albatrosses,
Tenderly preening one another,
After flying and waiting for long,
To find the right person,

Brawl, endure, hold back,
Virtues pushes you above,
It happens only,
When heart bleeds love.

I've always believed in a strong title. They are what snares the attention of a reader, as this one did for me. Beautiful lines and closure. I really didn't want it to end. Nice to meet you, Nitesh! Much enjoyed!

Love can be uncomfortable, painful even. Love sickness the pits. I was delighted by your third stanza when the albatrosses were found to have met their match. I enjoyed your poem Nitesh. I like happy endings.
