Bereavement

Bereavement

A Poem by Nitesh Mahabal

A blurry picture of the world,
In bleak emptiness,
Surrounded by despair,
And loud silence,

Running away from memories,
Disenchanted link to past,
Caught up in tears,
Given up at last,

Illusioned day dreams,
Hollowness of heart,
Constant cold feets,
Betterment no where to spot,

Long nights of mourning,
Conscious disbelief,
A never ending road,
Accompanying grief.

Running away from memories,
Disenchanted link to past,

Love this part, I can feel your words.
We can't really run away from our memories, I wish I could at times though.
This is wonderfully written and expressed

Hello my friend. No easy life for anyone.
"Illusioned day dreams,
Hollowness of heart,
Constant cold feets,
Betterment no where to spot,"
I liked the above lines. I enjoyed the hardness of your thoughts. We need to find our worst day and we need to make better ones. Thank you for sharing your powerful words and your thoughts.
