Long walkA Poem by Nitesh MahabalThoughts crowding your mind, Takes you to a strange mood, Walking down the road, In the company of solitude, How to push yourself up, How to make things better, Feels like experiencing chilling cold, And not having a sweater, The journey is bitter, And destiny unknown, But you gotta do it, All on your own, The one’s you had, Went their way, Question goes unanswered, To walk away or stay, How you feel now, Is so hard to describe, No one to understand, How deeply you talk or write, So you keep acting normal, With the big gulp in your throat, And keep walking further, Down the unpleasant road. © 2019 Nitesh Mahabal |
