Modern WorldA Poem by Nitesh Mahabal
When did you realize,
It happens too often, Laying in bed awake, With eyes wide open. Your long journey, From life to salvation, Is cursed with them, Dreams, hopes and expectations. The sweet sense of attachment, That feels so great, Until when you look behind and realize, You’ve arrived too late. The only things that’s sticks, Through you high and low, Is always with you, Your own shadow. In the hopes of betterment, You feed yourself lie, Time keeps ticking, And life just passes by © 2019 Nitesh MahabalFeatured Review
