Despair

Despair

A Poem by Nitesh Mahabal

Long walks late at night,
Staying sleepless till dawn's light,
With no one to care,
Living life in despair,

Dullness becomes routine,
Searching for a shoulder to lean,
Drifting unaware,
Living life in despair.

Watching dreams go down,
Wearing a indignant crown,
Physically here and mentally elsewhere,
Living life in despair

Sometimes life's situation tries to drag us into dispair but there is always light at the end of the tunnel if we choose to follow it. But this poem truly describes one's person's personal struggle to hang on during turmoil. Great write!

Long walks late at night
Staying sleepless 'till dawn's light.'
Changing this will maintain the rhyme of this poem.
I can feel your words, they are heart touching and very relatable. Thank you very much for writing and sharing this.
How are you now?
