Perfect Life

Perfect Life

A Poem by Nitesh Mahabal

Why would you care? What would you think?
About my scars, my silly things,

Deep as the ocean, is my little story,
All you ever see is the calm and gentle shore,

As you get closer, I will push you further away,
Within me is where my chest of being stays,

You only get my set of lies,
That I serve you with my manipulative smile.

Life is fickle and sometimes so is love. And its true sometimes we tend to push away those we love. Thank for sharing your poem with me Nitesh.

I liked the honest tone and the coldness of your words. It is sad we allow so few into our life. A interesting shared Nitesh.

This piece is relatable to a lot of people. I like how you told a story without even telling a story. I loved this, you're a great writer.
