I am a Star in the Sky!

I see a mob angered against me,

Up to point at me for the indiscipline of the other half.

I am being treated not like a co-human

I am least accepted wit my mistakes,

Poor cognition, they label, as they dominate;

So, I am least bothered about leaving this place, and,

Changing my identity to a star in d sky!

 

I know i am but a girl, so fragile at every trial

And yet managed to come out with every little courage, then,

Bravery, i called it, even if its something close to that

It remains unnoticed almost all the time

Like a star in the sky!

 

I know i am a star in the sky,

Large when near than from that distant planet,

Look, how the petty other half view it,

Who from far away leer and ignore.

Besides, i am THAT star in the sky!

 

Appearances are so deceptive, did you know?

It is the brightness in the dark,

Beauty of the sky,

Of course tiny, so? do you not notice it?

Remember, the mighty Sun is also a star!

 

Expected "Me" is being a vine on the way of the wind

To nod with the wind and be gone wit the wind.

Is that my existence all about?

Do i not deserve my space?

I know it's not gonna work out and so move out to be

Another star in d sky!

 

There are many like me

Only the one next to me know what i am like

My capabilities, that teenie-weenie bit of me,

Not the species of another planet:

And i am a star in the sky!

 

I swear i wouldn't lie because i am a star in the sky,

with a heart as white as its luminescence!

I am perfect because i have learnt to read imperfect as "i am perfect"

I am beautiful because i have known to drop the illusion of 'not enough'

I thought i was alone, but i have learned to be me and i was always with me!

Bah! Whatever, I know i am like the star in the sky,

left unnoticed, yet unfading!!!
