A Discerning Merriment!

A Discerning Merriment!

About one great Man who lived......

"

A Discerning Merriment!

February 17, 2012

This erudite man now in his sixties,

to his world of Literature would i wish to add this one lyric of mine..

and let people around listen of him,

him, who is known for his integrity in his vicinity, i do accept the faux pas in the measurement;

this word from his nephew!

this old man, a Pandit in Literature, no dyslexia(reading disorder) have i found

witnessing d divergent inventory at his so-called house, a mere book repository!

a strong passion for knowledge has he, and so,

inquired of Him diligently and obtained this "knowledge" ,

the knowledge of the right and the courage to shun the wrong;

the undaunted spirit to stand for the truth and the good

the indomitable disposition to bend towards the just and the fair..

Surviving on the concoction of His Word and certain righteous abstract qualities, and,

Very much wanting to spread the fragrance of Love and humanity

Is rendering himself a light to the Sphere!

Configuring 26+247 characters to their utmost sense,

and pragmatically bringing them out only wen absolute necessity takes the toll,

lighting the blown-out and bulwarking the shimmering candle at every other time

with one basic,significant tool Education.

i am left confused to decide upon d best of his contribution,

to tholkapiyam or to interpreting the work of Shakespeare!

An adept administrator, his labour-guaranteed .

Neither wickedness nor a misconduct has he

and quite stoic, i suppose..

Simply masking the sting with his gracious smile,

a good Samaritan without reproach and revile.

Is not to this man that this credit goes?

"Behold an Israelite indeed in whom is no guile!" (st.John 1:47)

i do not know, if, to him, this printed matter would appear as a flamboyant flattering or only as a pack of  words, but then,  obsequiously, i remind him the fact that this is nothing but the updated version of what i had written to him at his Farewell Function as "a Farewell Note" [please ask him to check out his closet or his attic :-D] just added to my e-world!

this is a special occasion for the reason that it has provided itself for satisfaction and happiness,

Perhaps, his guidance needs every appreciation.

Now that i have grown up to contemplate than to only convey; and realise than to just reiterate,

i have wanted this day to be filled with a Discerning Merriment..

Promptly, Let the Celebration begin!

MANY MANY HAPPY RETURNS OF THE DAY,beloved  periya mama!!!

Good Luck ad infinitum! (forever)
