A Roof Over Head!

A Roof Over Head!

A Poem by Nishada's
"

My first experience at a hostel....

"

I found a roof over my head

In the thick of trees,

Where i thrive just on apples,

The cheer i found for myself.

Edible, though, Poisoned, i lay

Like the Eve

In the world of mutual dissatisfaction

And robbery:

To intellectual arrogance, sometimes i die

And kill their innocence,

i thought , they had.

Annoying formalities,

Hanging works,

Pestering janitor...

Innocence is least accepted

Ignorance is self-appreciated

And gnats rule over the darkness,

Bright sunshine and dim moonlight,

I remain simply contained,

Nothing is PERMANENT!
