Lost Stranger

Lost Stranger

A Poem by Nishada's
"

When my Twitty died the very next day she was adopted...............

"

Twas like in a castle in the air

I opened to see the merrying dandelions

Filling my living space.

At the next door,

My new cousin, dipped in blue

Cheerfully chirping around in a mist of love,

Fence of metals and a few wooden planks.

The Avies, wrapped in the  blue sky or the Mauritian blue sea?

Eyes black, encircled with a blue lining;

A patch of blue, stained underneath her misplaced nostril!

Who streaked it there?

Shades of blue, Grades of grace,

And i fell in love with blue all over again!

This stranger,

Been moments i know,

Yet a strong footprint did she leave behind

as she lay down there , cold and clamp,

Blue and down

Amidst the solemn tears, bright colours,

All in blues.

Was it a day long dream or a dread within?

I didn't see that one coming.

That moment of losing beauty to death,

Happiness to Nowhere,

Fear to fraught.

Then i opened the window to see

the Dandelions stop and mourn

For the Lost Stranger.
