She steps out... Into what is nothing to most, Yet Everything to her. Simply was merely a ghost. Walking from room to room, going from place to place not a self that she could foresee hiding within her inner being. Elsewhere in every relationship past, wondering if one day it would last. Thinking back to a point in time, what could have made this be? Someone must have seen this coming... A life made specifically for she. They stare with eyes so indelicately judging, rushing to place a blame. They read some words, like they follow everything from that book. When in reality they don't give most a second look. How dare you speak her name for if you don't accept who she is, you don't deserve to call her the same. A love that lasted all those years cannot be thrown out all in fear. For those who love you as truly as can be will always love your inner being. Living in hiding was never a life to live, she convinced herself it was all that she could give. Until she felt that power to conquer from within. Pulling back, every nerve ending, tensed muscle, choking back the tears. She gets out every word she needs to say. "I am gay."
great poem people should read this before critisising others we are who we are i felt a tinge of sadness reading this the last bit from "pulling back- are people still that afraid of someone expressing their sexuality? for someone to share this it is an incredible and emotive moment.
Coming out is the hardest part. There is a lot of things that needs be considered. There is this fear to deal with alot of criticism, humiliation and rejection but I think that's just on the earlier part, as you we get older things will become a lot better. People start to become more mature and we don't get all of the harsh comments.
Coming out is a necessity. How well it goes also depends on the timing. Your implies bravery and pride. Well done!

Thank you!
If there's one thing illustrated nicely, it's the clandestine lifestyle that most gay people live, and how hard it is to finally say those words. Keep Writing!!!
