Dissonance

Dissonance

A Poem by Sara

Stop.
No, it's not discordant.
Everything's pefect.
Harmonious.
In tune.

Don't get me wrong,
I'm flattered that you even let me listen to it.
I hope it stays on your soundtrack forever.

But just stop for a minute.
Try to be anything but flawless.
Ignore your pile of endless sheet music
and let go.

I want to hear your  unstable tone combinations.
I want you to be out of tune.
All I want from you is dissonance.

You can make music out of dissonance too.

Being always perfect in life is extremely boring... right?

Love the idea of the musician taking heed of your words and unleashing everything from within.Images I got from this was starting with a polished performance, tuxedo and polished performance, note perfect, appreciation rings out. Then later, the real maestro plays just for you, feeling the pulse from within escape through his fingers, reaching a crescendo of fireworks and crashing thunder, feeling truly alive in their music.
Beautiful write. I want to hear it now :)
