The child who was born upside-down

The child who was born upside-down

A Poem by Nirupama.H

The child who was born upside-down
Thought a frown was a smile, and a smile was a frown.
He wore on his foot, a golden crown
And he joined the circus from town to town.

Thanks again for your time :)
Omg! This is a mind blowing piece!
I loved the crazy imagery and the sad end, although I feel that you might not have intended to make it sad but rather happy for finding a place in the odd world.
Great piece!
Keep sharing your wonderful work with us!

A very clever poem...it endears itself to me in telling me its not bad to be different. Indeed, sometimes, those who are different are happier and wear the golden crown. Very creatively written, Nirupama. Pen On!

This is very well done. A happy type poem. It seems there is a bigger story within the poem. But maybe not. It is a fun read.
