Feeling alone

Well, I wrote this in one of my sleepless nights, about one other thing contributing to making me stay awake.

Its 3 in the morning 

And I don't know what I'm doing

Can't fall asleep

Cuz I feel alone.

The wish of wanting to cuddle up with someone
That has always haunted me
But I have no choice left

Other than feeling cold and feeling alone.

This feeling,

I'm not able to shake it off

It worsens my sleepless nights

And I just feel alone.

Somehow I did shut this world

Enter paradise

It doesn't matter if it was just an illusion

But for once now, I didn't feel alone.

I know this isn't perfect. But that's the feeling, harder to feel than to express.

I enjoyed the rhythm of all of the stanzas and I also enjoyed the repetition and the consistency of the word "alone". For some reason it reminded me of this poem called "Pretty". I totally agree with you, it is harder to feel than it is to express.
