Hmm, this one really made me think... I am still trying to figure out this scene and what each element represents.. I came up with a couple conclusions regarding multiple lovers? Or Eve being perceived as one of the serpents.. (in congress with evil so she is evil... in reality we all are...) Eve is a serpent matched to the other one.. Adam looks on and is inspired by the evil betwixt the original serpent and the Eve-serpent.. agh, maybe I'm way off base.. either way it is perplexing and thought-provoking for sure... hmmmm

I think I told you once that for me poetry is about sound and the substance enters my head like Portuguese played backwards at 78rpm. Therefore this was "Greek to me" to paraphrase Shakespeare, but thinking about Greeks led me to Hermes's staff and the sign outside the doctor's office and presto -changeo I see a caduceus instead of snake porn. What a development! But, between the two of us, I liked the snake porn better.
