Ever Upon You

The claxon alarm which called you to me
Hailed its day tomorrow
Do you remember the siren?
Can you feel the push of the wind?
The shove that brought you to me.
The frozen delight of first kiss.
The taste of coffee and pancakes
And my touch ever upon you.
