Ever Upon You

Ever Upon You

A Poem by Nipplegrinder

The claxon alarm which called you to me
Hailed its day tomorrow
Do you remember the siren?
Can you feel the push of the wind?
The shove that brought you to me.
The frozen delight of first kiss.
The taste of coffee and pancakes
And my touch ever upon you.

I absolutely adore the title of this poem, culminating in the last line. There are certain sensations that linger like this, ever within. Beautiful.

Ambiguity. Romance. Sweet and intense in turn.
