As If Never BurnedA Poem by Nipplegrinder
Hell's Last Angel
darkened my doorstep Deposited ashen wings and walked away as if never burned I gazed upon the dust of the singed feathers the bony skeleton of wings which once carried her Once in flight had such wings carried her to light, to joy allowing soaring heights and spine-tickling dives And to the ground she would return for the leave from earth the jump away, into glorious flight filled Hell's Last Angel with delight with depravity To egress from such tawdry tether yet return for such sublime lusts Hell's Last Angel dives here © 2017 Nipplegrinder |
