Imprisoned Within Her

Imprisoned Within Her

A Poem by Nipplegrinder

She chased me into the stulted sorrows
And found me in a maelstrom
Grasped me with gilded gloves
Protection from malevolence
And pulled the shadows from skin
Sought cheesecloth bandages
Swathed my weeping wounds
Swiped tears from weeping eyes
Captured a craven mortal
Stilled gusting winds
Soothed sorrowed shame
Sated my thirst
Birthed my desire
Bathed a soiled soul
Melded in her arms
Caught in her gaze
Imprisoned within her

Loved the concept here. The raw and open soul.
