Allowing Tempests

Allowing Tempests

A Poem by Nipplegrinder

She speaks from shadows and dark spaces
Silently shouts my name, then hides in the wild
She stills the storms, then allows tempests to
shill the vestiges that should have shined forevermore
She shakes a mere man to foundation
And leaves lying my heaving heart
Bare
Undressed
Left to wither
Called to the siren of the wasteland
This beating dying heart
Slowly
Surely
Shall
Beat
Once more

"She speaks from shadows and dark spaces

This line caught my attention. Visually descriptive of a feral nature and riveting.
