Full purse, light heart

Snippet from the lives of Will and Katia. Not in order with other chapters.

“Katia, I’m frankly a little frightened at the amount of food you’re putting away,” said Will. He’d seen their waiter notice as well, doing a double take when after five minutes her large plate was clean.

She rolled her eyes. “My theory is that I’m still growing.”

Will snorted; that was less than likely. “Well, care for another plate?” he asked with a flourish to the full coin purse on the table.

Katia nodded her enthusiastic assent and summoned the surprised waiter again. Her heap of food soon replenished, she laughed brightly. “We’ll soon be the ones having to watch for pickpockets.”
