When My Day Has Come

I wrote this poem a while back and then forgot about it. I found it after I went to my cousin's funeral in recent months. It really did feel me with peace as I could imagine her saying this to me <3

When my day's come
don't be filled with sadness
let your hearts be filled with joy

Joy of having loved me
and me loving you
Joy of knowing I'm with our
Lord and Savior
and we'll see each other again some day

Let your hearts be filled with memories
memories of happiness and love
then let your hearts rejoice
because one day
we'll meet above
