CHAPTER 2A Chapter by Shah Sabia
She kept on thinking of the
things that never actually mattered, things that had been at the top of her priority list, things that troubled her, things that wiped her smile off, things that slaughtered her freedom, things that lynched her consciousness, things that drowned her inner being. The entire cosmos seemed alienated to her. These robots called "people" captivated her. Their uncertainity over their own decisions left her stupefied. It all felt extraneous. These people, all being complex machines deceited each other. They were the best manipulators, always misinterpreting the truth. Betrayal being their trademark, and backbitting their bias. Being friends meant being jealous, and love meant faking affinity. The only person who had ever made sense to her was one among the cluster, he was her uncle, more precisely her mother's brother. He was a man of guts, a man who knew when to be a friend and when to play elderly. He was her saviour, her hero. And she loved her hero to the moon and back. © 2015 Shah SabiaAuthor's Note
