Sad May

Sad May

A Poem by Nima.Hope

It's 7 in the evening
as I recall you leaving,
I start to think of this month, May
when at first I seemed so happy and gay.
Oh I'm saddened to see this
what happened to me it's
a story of love that failed.
I thought you were a lover,
not a careless mean rover,
wish you told me a great deal of lie,
but instead you chose to leave me
with no goodbye.
Oh girl I'll forgive you
because now I truly know you.
Now I seem to have no hope,
don't even dare to think of me,
you the executioner with no rope!
Now I see the point I was missing
I've become a blacksmith
whose hammering his heart out,
I'll keep the doors to my heart closed,
there is no love for me to cry about.
May I finish this letter
in a way to farewell better,
Take care of your beauty
stop being so naughty,
a man who once loved you,
Nima A.
