Lonely, not alone

Lonely, not alone

A Poem by Nima.Hope

The twenty-first century began,
with dreams of living life in space.
Lonely, not alone
humans are,
did we find happiness on Earth?

The more better our phones become,
the less we communicate.
Do you call a message or two,
"Communication"?!

I miss them,
those honest companionships,
back when I was a child.
It hurts me to see the complexity
of relationships, of love,
now that I've grown up.

These days I hesitate,
when I decide to text a friend.
Makes my heart heavy,
no other way for me to explain.

The actual art of conversation has been lost now to text writing, it is such a loss of communication because talking to someone face to face you undrestand more by their facial expressions and the emphasis on certain tones in their voice..
