" Nathaniel" means "perfect and innocent form of human being", it's an Hebrew word.
This poem is the story of Nathaniel writing a letter to his immortal beloved. I found out that Beethoven wrote a letter called "To the Immortal Beloved", so I thought I could write a poem in which Nathaniel is writing the letter.
P.S: It's only a poem, no specific person is the audience.

Your poem is a beautiful and heartfelt tribute to love and the power of emotion. The use of metaphor and imagery is particularly effective, with the garden symbolizing hope and the phoenix representing rebirth and renewal. The speaker's longing for their beloved is palpable throughout the poem, with the final lines serving as a poignant reminder of the power of love to transcend even death. Overall, your poem is a beautiful and moving tribute to love and the human experience.

"I'm writing to you,
a letter sent through the wind
and when I reached your name
my pen cried through the ink."
This verse resonated the likes of Keats to me, ever poignant and well versed with longing. Your expressions delighted my heart with the ambience of that time...so beautiful!

What an amazing idea to write a poem about Nathaniel writing a sweet poem to his beloved.
Very very clever indeed.
Wonderful that you were inspired by dear Beethovens letter. I too have used such things as inspiration.
Your choice of wording really brings to life thoughts..

How gently dramatic your words are, they are near divine in their wording, yet, reflect such a deep, earthly love and respect. As to your beautiful penultimate stanza: it stands as a poem in itself

So beautiful and rich with ardor, lyrical language and exquisite symbolism dear Nima. You have succeeded in writing a poem/song filled with tender love and grace. You put golden words into Nathaniel’s mouth and pen for his “Immortal Beloved”. Great imagery, metaphor, rhyme, flow, repetition. I loved this excellent write.
