To the Immortal Beloved

I'm writing to you

about you,

You, the always remembered one

You, from whom

I have found the rhythm divine

When the nowhere of roaming

Was my prison's guard,

under the barrage of calamity,

the only reason for gratitude was

my tragedic solitude

I saw, I could feel that

From the tease of Autumn,

tears became clothes

for the leaves of the garden,

the garden to sole hope,

the garden of no nope

I'm writing to you,

You, the missed one

You, whom my bliss

was lost after her myth

In my roving, like a falling leaf

my smile only 

meant to be grief

I never showed my anxiety

I was careful in my belief

Yet, I saw the phoenix

as the evangelist,

rising from the ashes,

gathering her wings

and taking me to

the land of water springs,

Where I can kiss you carelessly

Where I can hold you in our swing

I'm writing to you,

a letter sent through the wind

and when I reached your name

my pen cried through the ink

Oh my beloved,

there are many untold words

many unheard chords

and many souvenirs for you

to bring me from Elysium

Author's Note

" Nathaniel" means "perfect and innocent form of human being", it's an Hebrew word.
This poem is the story of Nathaniel writing a letter to his immortal beloved. I found out that Beethoven wrote a letter called "To the Immortal Beloved", so I thought I could write a poem in which Nathaniel is writing the letter.
P.S: It's only a poem, no specific person is the audience.
