Sometimes

Sometimes I'm really scared

Of future, of my past 

Sometimes I don't know

To cry or shout,

So I write

Sometimes I blame myself

For not doing the perfect thing

Then I find myself comforting

The tired,wounded soul of mine

Sometimes I feel I need a company

A true one

Someone, who doesn't judge me

Like many do

Someone who I can cry with

Someone who can put a hand

Of sympathy, of friendship

A person who I can be honest with

Without the fear of misjudgements 

Sometimes I'm really vulnerable

I can't sleep, I can't enjoy

I find myself eating every peace of

This broken soul

Sometimes I smile, sometimes I don't react

To hide the deep depression

Sometimes I cry inside,

Because I've lost that pure passion

People around me, see me as a funny man

They remember me with

 momentary jokes I say

They never see the sadness

I've been holding from a while ago

Sometimes, a voice says to me:

"At last, you are the one who stays with you"

Very well written! I can very well, relate to your feelings. It's always you and only you in the end, when it comes to knowing oneself. Reminds me of something Aldous Huxley once wrote - “In spite of language, in spite of intelligence and intuition and sympathy, one can never really communicate anything to anybody. The essential substance of every thought and feeling remains incommunicable, locked up in the impenetrable strong-room of the individual soul and body. Our life is a sentence of perpetual solitary confinement."

The above lines. We need. I don't have no-one and I have accepted this. I like the old saying. Better to smile, than to cry. Powerful and worthwhile poetry and your thoughts.

a sad post indeed .. the tears of a clown are often I think some of the saddest .. I know this to be true from personal experience .. when I was much younger, I found it easy to slip into such a role and people seemed to enjoy it and laughed out loud .. but when those same people come to expect it of you, the role can quickly become tedious .. I am very conscious of this fact and now go out of my way to play the straight guy .. muchly enjoyed my new found literary friend .. write on :)

Dear Nima. I felt your sadness in this write. True friends will not judge you, remember that. Also none of us is perfect, so don’t judge yourself harshly either. I have found in life that those who make others laugh can often hide their own sadness. Hope you are ok dear Nima.

I was sad when I wrote it but now, I feel very better since I've wrote it down and did not let it explode inside me. I should find more true friends, although I have now, but sometimes everyone is dealing with his/her own problems that can't be a company to the other one.
