HonestyA Poem by Nima.HopeHonesty is as hard as doubt It is as soft as a kiss It is as sad as the loss Honesty was tricky Was impossible to do Like a father choosing which child He wants to go to heaven with Honesty was a caring girl who a stranger asked her "which of your parents, do you like the most" Honesty was a sharp sword Targeting a lover boy’s heart Honesty was like Hamlet’s doubt “To be or not to be” but more like “To say or not to say” the problem was. Honesty was the tears of a cloud When the sky shouted at her Caressing Jasmine’s bright petals falling into the grave of forgotten flowers Honesty was Oliver Barret’s decision Saying goodbye to Jenny forever Honesty could have saved “Dash Akol” If he told the girl whom he wanted Or even could’ve killed him earlier When hearing the girl says “No” Honesty makes the movie beautiful Makes the quotations inspiring Nevertheless in the real life It is always doubted as freedom is Some put a borderline for both A redline of liberty, a redline for honesty Some find honesty the same as modesty © 2023 Nima.HopeAuthor's Note
