Dear Nima, this has been in our news this week and the subsequent brave demonstrations by women in Iran shown on TV channels. It is appalling what is happening. Don't think for one minute we don't know about it, but I'm not sure what the West can do. Radical Islam is what you have in power and it is abhorrent.

Dear Chris, I will say it a thousand times so western politician can hear us: The only thing west must do is that they should believe that they must stop negotiating with Islamic Republic and they must start negotiating with an alternative for this government, someone like Prince Reza. The problem is that the West continues to make deals with our government and they think like the famous Neville Chamberlain, the British prime minister who thought that he could change Nazis and reform them but at last it was proved he was wrong.
My request is that you western people should continue the hashtag #Mahsa_Amini or #مهسا امینی and do not let the protests of Iran being forgotten. Putin has said some ridiculous words and the prostests of Iran are being forgotten.

All religions have their radical fringes. They can be tolerated when they are not in power, horrifying when they have it. Unfortunately, Islam's radical fringe now rules Iran. I am not sure what the nations of the west can do about the regime's abuses, other than apply economic sanctions. I will advise my congressional representatives to follow this course.

Dear John, Iranian need the help of Media. Media is very stronger than sanctions. Sanctions hurt people, not the government in Iran. Media of the world must react to it and make an effort to end this regime.

Nima, your picture of little Mahsa Amini is so heartbreaking. This poem is a sharing of heartbreak and a call out against tyranny and subjugation in Iran. Women, girls are attacked there, as here, as everywhere. I feel the anger and indictment in your important lines. I will share this poem and pray for Iran

Dear Annette, some governers in the U.S think that sanctions can make the dictatorship in Iran weaker but they do not know that if they stop negotiating with the government of IRAN over nuclear program and many other things and try to make an end to this regime, they will help us. Sanctions only make the usuall people weaker. Do you know that while many Drugs and Medicines are rare in Iran, our governors are living in the luxorious houses and are living without any hurt from sanctions?
Only Media should react and make governors of the world aware.

A number of countries have imposed sanctions against Iran, but as for direct involvement over Iran's internal affairs - I cannot see any of them being willing to take any military action.
