Peace in my heart

Dedicated to a special person.

Dear reader

I wrote this poem to express feelings

Which were blowing in the depth of my heart

Recently I’ve got a new a friend

Who shined like a sun

On each corner of my heart

She made me think that kindness hasn’t died

Her warm words are always on my mind

Chaos has fulfilled the world

She made it beautiful to me once again

With her words

I wanted to thank her

For her kind heart

For her wise mind

I see everything smiling at me

It seems they know I’ve found peace

A thunderstorm of feelings has filled my heart

If I didn’t write them down I would be blown apart

So excuse me if you were looking for something else

I wanted to empty my mind

Not anything else

I guess she is the best friend I’ve been looking for

Finally, I found the treasure:

A wise friend for the peace of my soul.

This is the verse that came to me when I read your poem. Friendship is beautiful indeed.
