Dear Moses

I really miss you

I see you in my dreams

I miss walking with you beside trees

It’s been 3 years since we met last time

I couldn’t imagine that was going to be last time

When father told me you were gone

It seemed world shot me with a gun

I still cry when I sleep

I still can’t believe you are gone

I miss you saying “buddy climb faster”

You weren’t here when I became master

You were like a feelings storm

You changed everything to me like storm

I was a kid when I met you first

I was a man when I saw you last

And now Northern mountains means nothing to me

Persia is empty without kindness of you

I review my memories with you

I cry on photos of me and you

As Elvis once said to his beloved

You are always on my mind

It's sad to say goodbye

It is always sad to say goodbye to a loved one, but they do live as long as you do because they live in your thoughts and your heart, out of sight isn't out of mind..

That's true. It's sad because most of the time they go before you even say goodbye, cause you don't know that this will be the last time you are seeing each other.

Heartfelt write Nima. Hard to lose an uncle known since childhood, especially when there was such a close bond. You have photographs and memories. This poem was touching to read. I am sorry for your loss and hope with time your grief softens.
