Only A Friend

Sometimes in the day

I feel like I need to talk to you

Come next you and say

Hey babe I’ll be beside to you

Look around yourself

There is only the two of us

Moving  through the stairs

Hug you in the shine  of stars

But all this things that has changed the honesty for both of us

Make me feel just escaping from the hurt of past

Can you help me?

……………..

You come to me and say:

“It is too late for me to stay”

And I’ll say to you:

“Darling my love has blossomed for you”

You stare at me and complain:

“babe, I admire my relationship with you

But that’s no way to say your adore for a friend of you

You must know that I’m not in romance with you”

I’ll hug you tightly and pray:

“God help me not to cry for you”

Your eyes shine in the night

Wandering why I’m crying for help

I’ll awnser your question:

“You only count me as a friend to you”

You shout at me and say:

“I  just can’t be a lover  for you

I swared just to be

Only a friend to you

We can’t be friends any more

For this compromise of you”

You go while crying slowly  and shaking hands for the man

who once belonged to you

“babe, please wait

Can I tell you now as you start to go

your name means Lotus but your heart seems to be

A wrecked part of a big stone.”

I wish there would be no heartaches for all the people because the Heart both, the strongest and most fragile part of us. Some relationships are to learn from, some are not. no matter what the situation is, if we try after a while of that heartbreak to be opened to possibilities it gets better. there might be a moment in the future when it will make the sense why we went through all of that.

Yeah. If people were a little more open-minded, things would have been way more better. She refused romance and then she declined to be friends with me any more. You said of possibilities and I rememebered of the American series How I Met Your Mother. If Ted and Robin were real, world would be much beautiful.

I don't know the exact situation there, but as a female I say that if she did love You, it might be really difficult for her to be "friends" with You. I know the series How I Met Your Mother watched few episodes but right now I don't remember Ted and Robin story maybe I'm too old lol.

Not an easy situation to deal with when one person wants a friendship and the other wants a lover. While there is pain, there may not be friendship. Perhaps in the long run friendship is possible. Short term? I would say difficult.

The pain of a relationship that could have blossomed into something more, only remained now as friends. It's a stab to the heart, how can you stay friends with someone you already developed major feelings for? I enjoyed reading this poem

Anything could become true,even impossibles. It just depends on the both sides of the relationship. This poem is actually about the love I expressed to a girl I loved but she was mad at me for that compromise and our relationship not only developed but ended. I believe that in this situations we can forget the romance and be only friends.It may seem strange but it's better not to lose a friend.
