No More Choice

A poem for those who are procrastinators.

Open your eyes

Look deeply around

You are gonna find yourself

Amazed by a scary sound

The call of duty

Tells you to start working

Don’t let these idle-talks

Keep you off from hard-working

You have to start

There’s no more choice

Everywhere else you have no voice

People are working hard though their hearts don’t want

In U.S people laugh sadly

In Asia they are crying badly

Walter White has to fight for life

 while living in the land of light

there’s no more choice

You have to fight and work so hard

Don’t be scared of being  avant-guard

Motivational poetry! I needed some. As an American I might have to disagree, though. Most of us aren't laughing. We do our best to help. I'm sure some of that gets lost in the bureaucracy of democracy but I like to think we try. The choice requires no effort ... realizing it does!

I know people in the US are not satisfied with many things, that's why I said they are laughing but in a sad way.... After all, Western countries are the most prosperous in the Modern world, unlike the ruins of the Middle East. I like your nation you are 80 percent like us, Iranians, but the left 20 percent is the thing makes your country America and makes us one of the poorest nation's in the world.
All of us, are obliged in a way to do certain things in life, but among them, the most bothering thing is to not have the least facilities of living,education and many other things, only because of the Geography. How often do we think of poor African children who do not have water or food? Our routine life looks like heaven too them. So that child has no more choice rather than trying to get rid of that region.....

An interesting poem and concept here Nima.Hope, I liked the repetition of “no more choice” which feels like it’s pushing for some sort of ultimatum of movement. Nice work
