Girl Drowning: Part 2A Poem by NikoleanThe light, it wasn't bright, not bright at all. This light was in fact another dark hole. But the young girl didn't- hadn’t known that- she was merely looking for change. The young girl indeed, followed that light he gave. He was the best- athletic, a musical genius, a genius to no end. He was the greatest- creating works of art none could compare to, genius above his years, genius above her. The only one she couldn’t surpass. He taught her many things. How to fight, how to write, how to play music to the proper heights. He taught her things in a way she never would have expected- and she found she didn't hate life at all- not anymore. But her joy could never last long. Cause with this light came an unnerving darkness.© 2015 Nikolean |
