Unanswered QuestionsA Poem by NikoleanA man who has always lived so surely, a man who had so much conviction, believing in his justice, finally sits down and asks, Was he really right? But it is already too late.
The man sits up and walks away.
He walks up, up to the highest point of the building, up to the top, to the roof. He thinks he hears bells and walks to the edge, the edge of the roof. He looks up, then looks down. He asks himself What is life? He knows not how it is like, how it is like to live, No, not anymore. Not since he was abandoned as a child, not since he followed what he called "justice" But what is "Justice"? What is "Life"? What is it like to be a normal person? The man can no longer think, he cannot even speak. His grief is great. All he hears is the ringing, the ringing of funeral bells in the distance. And when he went back into that building, he never came back out.
