Brown ColorA Poem by Nika ProninaThe sky
cleared, the rain stopped, I’m going
out for a walk. I like jumping
up and down in muddy puddles, I put on my
brown boots, coat, and go out. I hop over
the roots of the big tree, I’m an
athlete at the Olympics! I run and
then jump over the hurdle, The whole
stadium is cheering for me! I seat on a
mossy log in a humming forest, Brown
acorns are falling off an oak tree, I put them
in my basket and go back home, Delicious
breakfast is waiting for me. Tiny ants
work together in soil, An
armadillo crosses my path, I offer him
pretzels, But he
turns his nose up And slowly
strolls into the grass. I open a
door and smell chocolate cake baking, Mom knows
that I love everything chocolate! Brownies,
chocolate chip cookies and pudding, Ice cream, lava
cakes, donuts, Chocolate
cupcakes and chocolate bars! Smiling
teddy bear is painted on my plate, I drink
chocolate milk and eat French toast. Chocolate
cake smell so good! What a
delicious breakfast! © 2023 Nika Pronina |
