![]() An Ode to Your MajestyA Poem by Nika Pronina
Fluffy paws of happy fat cat
With big round belly, That shakes like a bowl of jelly. Oh, he doesn't eat the rats, He is quite the gourmet. He eats only warm fresh baked bread, Not all sausages are tasty, And his tiny millimeter-sized teeth Have trouble with eating large pieces of meat. I think he would eat with a knife and fork Caviar, sweet corn, smoked pork. I suppose he was a king in his past life, Cause how can you explain Such royal manners? It always seems to me, he holds a banner ''I'm the cat and I know it''. So care about me, feed me, Chop my food and clean up my poop, Also, play with me For entertaining of Your Majesty. If I lick and rubs you, Stand up and empty my throne! I mean, chair. Go, check my plate! I've eaten it all. And next time, when you cook, Add variety to my food.
