The Government

Hopefully no one will take offence to this poem, it is my oppinion therefore it doesnt mean that everyone else has to agree.

Power and corruption

rolled into one.

These foolish mortals

who reach for the sun.

Dare they help the

weak or poor?

Will they open

every unlocked door?

 

How can I explain

my hatred for these,

corrupt indeviduals

whos hearts will freeze.

Whether they'll change,

who's to tell.

But I hope that these people

will rot in Hell.

I like this poem. Good to see other people watching the men and woman with no concern for the real world. Power and corruption is strong and alive. Simple cure. Less government and less lawyer and career Politicians. Nice flow of thoughts and a very nice ending. A excellent poem.
