Psycho Social

Psycho Social

A Poem by Nik DiCarlo

Silhouettes

We’re all just silhouettes

orbiting shadows around

a solipsist’s universe.

The Solipsist created all of this.

It’s not real…

Love

Trust

Forever.

It’s make-believe in a mind

That exists only as one.

Genius.

The Solipsist is a genius

Because even now,

It’s created these words

Written to itself,

Because the hand writing them

Is a figment of the Solipsist’s imagination.

Pure imagination…

Is it pouring? Is it morning?

Are the bodies still deforming?

Creating & adoring,

Synesthesia is forming.

The fires of hell are swarming

as the ripper lurks for whoring,

and sins until the mourning

townspeople are abhorring

the destruction"there’s no curing

or fixing

what is fake.

A Solipsist could make mice

dance with hammers.

Or lemon drops rain upside down into the sea.

Monkey’s have intelligent conversations

with Darwin about humanity.

It’s insanity. Total calamity.
