City

City

A Poem by Nihilus

I spent days building.

Mortar and brick and nails and wood.

Impenetrable walls and monstrous abodes.

Stepping outside the normal bounds of inhibition

To ensure the success of a city so profound.

The first attack came and destroyed the walls.

And now the whole f*****g city is burning around my feet.
