The Black Horse

The Black Horse

A Poem by Nihilus
"

The second in the Four Horsemen series

"

I saw the scales of justice in the sky
A heartless measure of men who die
Judging lives and deeds and sins
Merciless wrath as our end begins
With dearth wrought of vacant drought
Mind and hearts indeed do doubt

Now faced with this Apocalypse of existence
It's time to stop living without subsistence

I looked and beheld a black horse; and Famine sat upon him.

He held a balance in his hand.
